We are looking for a great new team member to join our team as a Front Office Manager. You are responsible for every aspect of LATROUPE’s operation together with the General Manager.
As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the property and is accountable for maintaining and improving the currently strong financial and operational performance and profitability. With a strong focus on providing the best return on investment, the Front Office Manager will never lose sight of what sets LATROUPE apart: Its strong employee morale, positive work environment and optimistic, can-do attitude. The Front Office Manager will be expected to take ownership of the business within the General Manager as a business partner, to be creative, and to implement new ideas in relation to food & beverage offerings, menus, special events, entertainment, and other activities

- Should be analytical, with the ability to track, measure and evaluate the success of all business metric
- Will also have a well-developed capacity for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results within guest and employee satisfaction, operational excellence, revenues and profit
- Additionally, you will perfectly combine the roles of owner’s interests with the functions of sales, finance and host.

- Experienced within a front office hostel environment
- Experienced working with Mews Property Management System then other hospitality systems (Channel Manager, CRM, RMS etc.)
- Knowledge of the local market is desirable and a natural understanding and appreciation of the needs of today’s travelers are essential
- You will bring on board experience in creating and running an experience and design led business anchored in its local's community
- You’re fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking) and have a good knowledge of French. Other languages as Spanish are highly appreciated.
- You will have a university degree in business or hotel management, and previous management experience in the hospitality industry; specifically, in a rooms-driven product of similar size
- Flexible with regards to shifts available per week (mixture of morning and evening shifts)
- Tasks
- You work together with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Holding with the General Manager full P&L responsibility with a focus on performance, revenue generation and cost optimization.
- You are in contact with in- and external suppliers and oversee daily stock and cost control as well as monthly reporting
- You will take care of the recruitment and be able to build, and retain talent; put in place (and promote) a belief system that is adhered to and supported by all the hotel’s staff.
- Developing, mentoring, and training employees and providing hands-on leadership to all departments
- Monitoring and coordinating the various departments to increase revenue and ensure smooth operations
- Growing LATROUPE brand and culture to continue the unique value offering to become a “place to be” in the city
- Maintaining a high profile with guests and ensuring ultimate guest satisfaction and financial success
- Establishing accountability for self and others. Identifying primary issues and/or problems and resolving them quickly and effectively, taking ownership of decisions and strategic plans
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with the local community
