It's finally here, four years waiting, well actually three but let's not dig up dirt on the past either. The European Football Championship is here.
This wonderful event will make you watch with excitement matches that, at another time, you wouldn't have cared about at all, but that's the magic of the European Championship. But if we're talking about magic... Surely you have no doubt that your national team will be the one to take home the cup, right? That's what we all think, and we can't all be right.
If you're in Bilbao, you can't miss the chance to watch any of the games in some of the best sports bars in the city. Here's a list of our favourites, and very soon, they'll be yours too.
Best bars and clubs to watch the Euro in Bilbao
Bar La Granja
Plaza Biribila, 3
Our first option, the best, the most homely, lively and with the best atmosphere. There's a good one at every Eurocup match at Latroupe La Granja Hostel Bilbao. Not only in the hostel, but also in its bar; La Granja.
The whole Latroupe family will be broadcasting the whole Eurocup, so that wherever you are, you can enjoy the best atmosphere and the most special offers.
Every day, the bar becomes the epicentre of a gathering of people from all corners of the world thanks to the Latroupe Hostel. Add to that, the excitement and fun of the European football afternoons and evenings, and you can enjoy the best atmosphere and the most special offers.
Every week they celebrate special nights, with parties and offers, and during the Eurocup it couldn't be less. Stop by to take advantage of some of the many benefits they have; from Euro promotions with top products and brands to an international and fun atmosphere.
There is no better place in any city to enjoy the Euro with great prices and a multicultural atmosphere that will make you vibrate with all the matches.
Other options to watch Euro Germany 2024
If you are not convinced by our best option, here are some other options to watch some of the matches of the European Championship.
Restaurante Ein Prosit Bilbao
Plaza Zabalgune, 7
Germany Euro 2024, if you can't make it to Germany, how would you like to see it in an atmosphere as close as possible?
At the Ein Prosit Restaurant in Bilbao you'll be able to sample some of the fantastic German cuisine and, of course, try some of their many German beers. They have a wide range of options and you won't go wrong.
It is a place where sport is the absolute king, and the king of kings is football. So it's certainly a good place to enjoy the football atmosphere, although if you're not German you might not be so welcome.

Molly Malone
Calle Particular de Estraunza, 8
If you're more in the mood for an Irish-style pub, Molly Malone might be the right choice.
The Irish Cavern, as its entrance says, has wooden benches, the smell of beer and burgers, a good atmosphere and giant HD screens. Here you can talk about many things, but always between beers and football.
No matter what time of the year you go, your screens will be showing a football match and, at Euro time, I don't think you can tell what's on the screens.

Covent Garden
Alameda Dr. Areilza 28
To give you more than one option, here is another Irish pub in the fantastic football area around the San Mamés stadium, home of Athletic Club de Bilbao.
A football atmosphere with a great range of drinks, especially beers, and food to make the most of the best European football.

Poza 40
Calle Licenciado Poza, 40
If Covent Garden and its Irish décor haven't won you over, you don't need to go far to change the atmosphere radically.
A two-minute walk away you'll find some great fans, not only of Athletic, but of football in general. In Poza 40 they enjoy football; big screen, their famous Kinitos and drinks.
Of course, whoever doesn't enjoy this Eurocup in Bilbao is because they don't want to.
